Swimming

Of course we took advantage of Grandma's pool this summer, although not as often as we should of! Dylan is a fish, and loves to swim. He scares his mother at how daring he is. Deana is in her third summer of swimming lessons, and has become an expert swimmer. Me, I'm still not a good swimmer, but when it is over 100 out, I tend to join in! The hot tub is a bonus for us old bones, I could spend the whole evening in it!

Dinosaur Musuem

This summer we hung out mainly around home, and checked out fun spots around town. We visited the Dinosaur Museum and found all kinds of cool things. Dylan was a little scared of some of the dinosaurs, but I can't blame him! Deana loves dinosaurs and of course had Angela her best friend along. They had fun digging for fossils and making things.

Snowbird

Grandpa Smith got a chance to see the ski resort Snowbird in the summer. It was a beautiful sight riding up the ski tram to the top. We also took a ride, yes even Pa, on the alpine slides. Dylan and Deana loved it and wanted to go again and again. Deana and I showed off our acrobatic talent some too!

Camping

Mid-Summer we went on our annual camping trip with the rest of the family. Grandpa Smith got to come along in his camper, and we rented one. It had it's ups and downs for the week, but it was fun riding the quad and visiting with the rest of the gang. In the end we got sick and went home, but hey, what do you do? Next year no one will be allowed to get sick!!

Zoo

We had so much fun when Grandpa Smith came and visited! We went to the Zoo and saw all the animals. Deana had Angela with of course, they always have fun together. Grandpa loved the monkeys, he felt right at home!!

Aquarium

Next on the agenda we went to the Living Planet Aquarium. The kids had fun touching the stingrays, and checking out the scary shark!

Thomas the Train

We took our very first train ride and it was Dylan's favorite (he is still talking about it!) We went up to the Heber Valley Railway and got on Thomas the Train. That Thomas, he's so cheeky!! :)
